Cast List
Check it out...came on right away...
Well, I've now noticed everyone and their brother or sister has a cast list...which made me think-gee, that's a great idea! So, due to boredom and necessity...here it is...if I miss anyone, well, leave me a note...maybe I'll add you ;)
Family:
For starters, the family...here goes...
Dad: My dad is a Pastor of the biggest congregation in our district. Thus, stress...HOWEVER, he also collects Medieval Weaponary, misc Disney, football, baseball, science fiction AND fantasy stuff. Every nerd dynsty needs a patriarch and its him. Brilliant, witty, amusing, gotta love my dad!
Mom: Nuts. We love her, but she's a little out there. See my Mother's Day entry...seriously. I can talk to her about anything and she can talk to anyone...also patented the "Sweet but Dumb" look, very useful for getting out of tricky situations!
Rob: My brother, aka Robby or Robert if I'm mad at him. Computer science Applied Mathematics double major. In short: too smart for his own good! Taught me everything I know about video games, ruthless at card games and terrifying in a battle of wits. Don't think I can't beat him, though, someone's got to take him down a peg. Also looks a lot like Harry Potter. Don't tell him that though, sure thing to get you killed ;)
Oma: My mom's mom, immigrant from Germany in 1954ish. 5 ft nothing, super funny, walks like 5 miles a day, retired teacher, her home is the staging area for Ren Faire preparation. Also a great cook.
Nana: My dad's mom. Nana's a barrel of laughes. Also, has a wicked sense of humor. Example, her favorite joke: A young woman was swimming in the ocean when suddenly a HUGE wave came up and washed her bikini top away. She covers her chest and runs out of the water only to be stopped by a little boy. He says, pointing at her chest "If you're going to drown those puppies, can I have the one w/ the pink nose?"
Grandpa" My dad's dad. WWII vet. Mostly often heard saying "Geez, Dorthy, what about these kids today."(Dorthy, being my Nana). They own a cabin in Northern Wisconsin where we vacation. Also amusing. We think he takes out his hearing aid to avoid hearing Nana...smarter than he looks, that Grandpa.
Last but not least:
Dilweg: The family dog. Far too smart for his own good, no door he can't open, no show he won't interrupt to go for a walk. Love Scooby Doo dog treats...he's black and white and named after a former Packer Player. Yes, we live in Wisconsin.
Friends from Home:
Rachel O.: cooks up a storm, sews, works on cars, buys corsets, is there anything she can't do? Attends UW-Stout
Misty: My partner in crime for Anime AND ice cream. Bad day? Chocolate covered strawberries, cheesecake, sparkeling grape juice, you name it, we've eaten it. All. in one sitting. Attends MSOE
Stef: Another theater major. Partner in theater type crime at home...attends UW-Manitowoc, soon UW Parkside.
Kim A: Introduced me to Carroll, Anime and driving around late at night. Also to social situations involving boys. Attends Carroll.
Rachel F.-Spazy. Also my 'personal trainer' she's making me run...you can't help but like her...just don't try to understand her...attends MLC.
College friends:
Anime Club
Phil: my dorky friend. Good for late night walks, ice cream and movie watching. Also for watching the 4 hour Hamlet :-D
Tim: is awesome and loves to take me driving. Especially to Noodles, Barnes and Noble and HalfPrice Books. Gotta love Tim.
Stacy: Oh Stacy...how I love you...she is the sweetest person you will EVER meet. And she loves to cook and share w/ me. Best neighbor a girl could have.
Theatre People
Jenny: I like Jenny, she's smart and goes for walks and we nerd together. Oh the joy of nerding. She reads almost more than I do which is impressive by itself. We share the common bond of a semi-terrifying voice teacher.
Ruth: Dance partner, good at hugs AND diary writing, she's great! I highly recommand a daily dose of Ruth.
Ryan B.:he has stupid hair. And is chased by squirrels. silly Ryan.
Ryan s.: An important part of Team Ultra Hot(long story...someday I'll explain) He says he's the cute one that gets all the action and I'm all the brains...why do I have to be the brains?!?!
Rachael: Rival for the Queen of the Nerd throne. Also could kill you before you knew what happened. She's deadly. And fun to do directing homework with...tee hee
Alexishow could I NOT include her? She's not from around here(she's from New York) thus giving her bounus points on the cool meter. Also...she's even busier than I am...which is terrifying...
And she's not a theater person but last and certainly not least, Kim: my roomie, just back from Iraq, missed her terribly, can't wait to have more adventures w/ her!
